Even though rubber surfacing is incredibly tough and durable, accidents can happen that damage your rubber. To patch the damaged area we cut around it and then rough up the edges so the patch doesn't leave noticeable straight lines.

The curing time for pour in place rubber can vary based on temperature and humidity but the typical cure time is 24 hours before you are able to walk on the new surface. To park a car or place any heavy or high pressure items, such as large planters or chairs, on a new rubber surface, we recommend waiting 3-5 days.

Rubber surfaces can be easily cleaned with a powerwasher, safely up to 3200 psi at a couple inches away from the surface, to remove any dirt or stains.

Existing concrete is the most common base that we cover, however it is not the only surface we can cover. We are easily able to put rubber over stone, asphalt, interlock, wooden decks, and even aggregate subsurfaces such as gravel.

PIP rubber surfaces are not waterproof as they are porous and allow water to drain and follow the existing slope or drainage path underneath, which help rubber act as a non-slip safety surface. There are pour sealers that can be applied to give water diverting properties.

Pour in place rubber is bound all throughout the product with resin, allowing it to expand and contract so as not to crack or delaminate from the freeze and thaw cycles. It is also shovel and snowblower friendly. We do not recommend using snow plows on our surfaces.
